2nd Annual Youth Theatre Camp
The Second Annual Youth Theatre Camp at Wytheville Training School Cultural Center will take place from Tuesday, April 2nd to Friday, April 5th, running from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This camp is FREE for children in grades 2-7, with only 20 seats available. Juneteenth (Freedom Day)
The Wytheville Training School Cultural Center will be celebrating Juneteenth (Freedom Day) on June 19, 2023, starting at 1:30 p.m. Come, See and Hear the Re-enactment of Major General Granger’s reading of Order No. 3 (Order of Freedom), Facts about Juneteenth, a sampling of Freedom Day Foods symbolic of the cause … the sacrifice and blood shed of those enslaved. A sampling of other celebratory foods will be available as well. This event is funded in part by the Wythe-Bland Foundation. Come and Celebrate Freedom Day! All programs held at the Training Center including entrance into the museum are FREE.

Opening New Doors
The Wytheville Training School Cultural Center is partnering with Wytheville Community College to engage our community in Educational Opportunities! We will be hosting an information sharing event on Saturday, May 6th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Opening Doors and Opportunities that may benefit your child’s education for the future!
Hear information regarding the college’s FREE summer camps for children ages 11 and above. The college is offering Music Camp, Medical Camp, a Culinary Program and many more programs to enhance your child’s educational opportunities in collaboration with Virginia Tech and other educational institutions. Please take this opportunity to invest in a child’s educational experiences. Some camps start in June! Share the word!
